Since January 1, 2005, Pro Arbeit – Kreis Offenbach – (AöR) has served as the municipal job center responsible for providing basic income support for job seekers under the German Social Code II (SGB II) in the district of Offenbach.

As a municipal job center, its legal mandate is to support people in social need. The core responsibilities include providing financial assistance to ensure the livelihood of benefit recipients and supporting their integration into the labor market, enabling them to sustain themselves independently in the long term.

Pro Arbeit’s employer service offers holistic, client-oriented support for companies in the regional labor market – with a comprehensive range of services related to the placement of qualified candidates.

The European Project Management (EPM) is a young and innovative team of Pro Arbeit, established to implement transnational projects that enable the organization to actively participate at the European level. The team not only takes part in various project consortia but also contributes its experience and expertise to European bodies working
toward a social and inclusive Europe.
